Information for Orders
Specific instructions and details on the cost of each new SDPA are posted here in early February of each year.
Copies are made available to contributing poets (and their friends) at a special rate and can picked up at any of our scheduled readings.
-
The special rate per copy is ALWAYS the actual cost of each volume (includes tax).
-
Orders at the special rate can be made from February 1st through March 31st, or as extended by the Publisher, as in the case of the COVID-19 pandemic.
-
Contributing Poets may order unlimited copies at the special rate.
-
The Publisher makes no profit on sales at this special rate.
-
Poets are never required to buy a copy or pay any fee in order to have poems published in the annual.
-
A FREE copy of both volumes of the annual is available in PDF. Visit our Free PDF page to view and/or download.
-
The downloads are FREE, too.
-
The PDF serves as the complimentary copy to contributing poets. It will be available for viewing/downloading on March 1st each year — our official publication date.
-
-
The annual is sponsored by the San Diego Entertainment & Arts Guild (SDEAG), a 501(c)(3) local arts non-profit. All purchases are therefore tax-deductible.
-
Copies NOT pre-paid are offered at our scheduled readings at the retail price.
-
Please consult Readings our website menu for a list of and updates about our scheduled events — and look for e-mails from Regional Editors and the Executive Staff.
Retail and Regular Online Sales:
Copies of each edition of the San Diego Poetry Annual are available online at Amazon.com, Powells.com and Barnesandnoble.com and may be ordered through any bookstore.
Copies go on sale to the general public each year by March 1st.
Hi, I had the oportunity of publish in the latest number. I’m From Mexico, how can I get some copies?
If you cannot attend any of our scheduled readings, copies are available online at Amazon.com, Barnesandnoble.com or may be ordered through any bookstore.
But, there aint no possibilities you guys send me a copy or the number of copies I have the right to have as a formal contributor poet? I published a poem in Marca Frontera and I think I have the right to get a piece at least.
As you may have noticed in one of our recent posts, we received a grant from Southwestern College and from The Poetry Foundation this April and those funds were used to distribute one FREE copy of Marca Frontera to all contributing poets and translators. Regional Editor Olga Garcia has been given the copies to distribute, so please contact her directly to make arrangements to have your copy delivered to you. Thanks again for allowing us to publish your work.
Question on cost, if I am donating my copies to a university and public library here in Texas, is there a special offer for multiple copies?
Contributing poets can buy unlimited copies at the same special discount rate (cost). These copies must be prepaid by March 31 and then picked up at a scheduled reading.
Thank you for beautiful presentation.
